SUMMARY:EUSEW 2023: Harnessing the potential of offshore wind energy through skills development
DESCRIPTION:The new geopolitical and energy market realities require us to accelerate our clean energy transition and that is one of the main priorities of the REPowerEU plan. However\, the lack of skilled workers in that field might be a stumbling block in achieving this goal. Therefore\, the challenge is both the adaptation of the education system as well as having an adequate number of entities offering the opportunity to train and grant the necessary licenses and certificates to work in the offshore sector. The debate intends to show what are the challenges and how to meet them when organizing an adequate education system and preparing competencies for the modern economy. SUMMARY:PWEA 2023 Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Polish Wind Energy Association Conference is the largest wind energy industry event in Poland as well as Central and Eastern Europe. Poland is currently facing a very serious challenge as a result of climate change\, the war in Ukraine\, the economic crisis and the inevitable energy transition. \nThe development of renewable energy sources is now Poland’s raison d’etre – especially wind energy is a solution to the problem of energy poverty\, dramatically high energy prices and Poland’s dependence on imported raw materials.
