The Baltic region will play a significant role in the development of offshore wind energy in Europe with an estimated potential of more than 93 GW by 2050. The first projects will come online within the next few years and will gradually contribute to the decarbonisation of Baltic power systems. However, the impact of these huge investments reaches beyond the coastal regions into several EU Member States.<\/p>\n
This conference aims to review the current state of Baltic offshore investments and discuss what is needed to successfully implement ambitious offshore plans in the region.
