This session will explore successful coal transitions and look towards how the public and private sector can finance and create the political buy-in for the transition away from coal and towards renewables in Asia. This will be an opportunity to facilitate knowledge exchange so that coal-dependent jurisdictions can implement innovative decarbonization pathways. This session would also showcase effective examples of public finance being targeted to mobilise large-scale private finance in renewables, either via fossil fuel phaseout programmes, innovation grants, tariff support, or otherwise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
