We welcome you to the 22nd Wind & Solar Integration Workshop<\/strong> in Copenhagen, Denmark. In close cooperation with the Technical University of Denmark \u2013 DTU<\/a>, the Workshop will be held on DTU\u2019s Lyngby campus<\/a> on 26\u201328 September 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

About the Workshop<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Since its first edition in 2000, the primary objective of the Wind & Solar Integration Workshop (then \u201cInternational Workshop on Feasibility of HVDC Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Farms\u201d) has been to stimulate interdisciplinary thinking<\/strong>between industry and academia<\/strong> by providing a platform for discussion and for sharing ideas and knowledge regarding the key issues in the field of large-scale grid integration of renewable energies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From 2011 to 2021, the Wind Integration Workshop has been conducted back to back with the Solar & Storage Integration Workshop. In 2022, the two Workshops merged to the Wind & Solar Integration Workshop (including such topics as Sector Coupling, Storage and Hydrogen) to take into account the many possible synergies and to meet the wishes of the participants.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be held together with the 7th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium<\/a> in Copenhagen as part of the Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week on 25 September 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Topics of the Workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Due to the current rapid development in this field and the numerous papers that were presented under this topic at the 2022 Wind & Solar Integration Workshop, the topic of hydrogen will play an important part again at this year\u2019s Wind & Solar Integration Workshop. For this reason, some hydrogen topics are proposed for the Call for Papers 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
