Project Description
BalticWind.EU invites interested individuals to discover the inside work of the editorial team covering the renewable energy market. The offer is open to people with a very good command of English and one of the languages of the countries around the Baltic Sea: Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Polish or German.
We offer a part-time Internship in a dynamic, all remote, multi-cultural environment with exposure to high profile projects in the offshore wind energy industry.
This is a paid internship. It will initially last for 6 months, with the possibility of an extension of up to a year. Promotion to full-time employment is also possible. Our work is fully remote. Interns are welcome to work from any location.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring news content and press releases appearing in selected countries on offshore wind energy.
- Drafting of articles
- Compiling numerical summaries for reports, co-designing infographics
- Researching new technologies and trends relevant to the offshore wind industry
- Translation of press releases into English
- Contribute to the creation of various digital content for the BalticWind.EU website and online social media platforms
- Assist in the day-to-day management and growth of social media channels
- Contribute to the organisation and execution of events and conferences organised by BalticWind.EU
Your Profile
- Last year student or degree holder in Communications, Journalism, Energy, EU Affairs or similar areas of study
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Excellent command of spoken and written one of the 8 languages spoken around the Baltic Sea: Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Polish or German.
- Excellent computer skills (WordPress, MS Office, social media)
- An interest in EU affairs, energy, renewables
- Experience in producing written and visual content for use on websites and in social media will be a plus
- Online oriented – comfortable working in digital environments
- Be allowed to work in the EU
