LitRES – Lithuanian Renewable Energy Congress
January 26, 2024
About this Event
Starting from presenting and discussing current Lithuanian energy policy, we shall move on to consider prime avenues for cost-effective project financing.
Next, we will look at expensive but necessary energy grid upgrades sustained by medium- and long-term energy storage growth to ensure grid stability while accommodating ever-growing participation of renewables.
The speakers will examine the role district heating and co-generation will play in near future;
Scrutinising inter-connection choices with other Baltic countries and Western Europe through Poland will be our next topics, followed by analysing hybridization models between solar and wind generation and hydrogen production and energy storage – to finally investigate hydrogen build-out options Lithuania might want to explore.
