Ocean Winds is committed to innovation and collaboration in the development of the offshore wind industry using the latest technology, which is why it is participating in the ELBE Eurocluster Challenge as part of the Blue Cluster. Ocean Winds has made a demand in the ‘offshore wind’ theme to provide an innovative system of unmanned autonomous vehicles to operate offshore wind farms including our BC-Wind project in Poland.

They are looking for companies from Europe that specialise in the above technology and will be able to deliver and develop it in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea. The winner will receive a grant to implement the project as part of the ELBE Eurocluster Challenge.

During the meeting, Ocean Winds will present the need for an innovative solution within the BC-Wind offshore wind farm, as well as details of the planned unmanned autonomous vehicle system.

ELBE Eurocluster is an alliance of 8 European clusters from major regions and countries in the offshore renewable energy sector, including the Pomeranian Platform for Offshore Wind Energy Development in the Baltic Sea.
