In relation to its offshore investments, ORLEN Neptun is looking for potential service port locations. One of them is the Port of Kołobrzeg. The companies have signed a letter of intent in this regard.

The signed cooperation agreement is the starting point for detailed analyses, the results of which will determine the potential investment.

At the end of 2023, ORLEN Neptune obtained a decision on the allocation of five sites for the construction of offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea with a total capacity of about 5.2 GW. Four of them are located in the shoal of Oder and one on the Slupsk shoal.

Due to obtained concessions and taking into account the distances of individual farms, the company is also analyzing other locations for the construction of service bases in the Baltic Sea.
