By joining our team in Renewables you will have the opportunity to:

Equinor’s Policy & Markets team in Poland is growing. We are looking for a self-driven, enthusiastic and commercially minded person to join our Poland team. Policy & Markets is a global team responsible for ranking and prioritising new growth markets for Equinor, and to engage with stakeholders and improve policy framework to the benefit of host community and for Equinor.

  • Understand, convey and contextualise status and development within offshore wind and other renewable energy policies across Equinor’s renewables organisation
  • Map stakeholders, engage with them when appropriate with a view to optimising policies
  • More specifically, the candidate will be engaged in maturing current offshore wind licenses
  • Provide input to Sector Deal
  • Regulatory affairs lead for market entry to other Baltic Sea markets
  • Support on regulatory and policy matters for onshore renewables projects and screening in Poland

  • University degree in law, business studies, economics, or political science
  • Experience from public administration or consultancy
  • Experience and good understanding of the complexity of the energy sector regulatory environment and political dynamics, especially concerning offshore wind
  • Experience in developing, and providing solutions to the regulatory issues
  • Developed relations among stakeholders in the sector
  • Ability to speak and write in Polish and English fluently
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strategic and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to condense complex written materials into concise talking points
