To support the energy transition and to provide consultancy services for the offshore wind industry in Poland, BLIX Consultancy B.V. from the Netherlands and Horizons Sp. z o.o. from Poland have signed a joint venture agreement to start H-BLIX Sp. z o.o.
H-BLIX wants to be an experienced partner in achieving Poland’s ambitious offshore wind target: 5.9 GW by 2030, and 8-11 GW by 2040.
Tomasz Kwiatkowski, managing director for H-BLIX, said: “Drawing on capabilities of its shareholders H-BLIX will be able to transfer international experience into the Polish offshore wind market and deliver innovative services in a very agile manner, while building local competencies to respond to future market demand”.

H-BLIX makes use of the more than 40 offshore wind energy experts from BLIX Consultancy and Horizons, each with multiple years of worldwide experience. H-BLIX can support projects during all phases of the execution, offering services such as market entry, site selection, feasibility and LCoE studies; soil investigations, power evacuation analysis, and permitting support; foundation, wind turbine and grid package management. In addition, H-BLIX will specialize in offshore wind farm innovations, hydrogen, and energy storage as a foundation for energy supply stability.

The establishment of H-BLIX is a result of the clear synergy between BLIX Consultancy and Horizons.
