Wrocław, 5 December 2025 – KFB Technologies, a European leader in vibroacoustics and pro-environmental solutions for industry, has launched a pioneering service enabling comprehensive monitoring and management of emissions in the areas of noise, vibrations, air, water and soil quality. This innovative project was created with companies from the industrial, construction and smart cities sectors in mind.

Based on its 15 years of experience in developing proprietary measurement and analytical solutions for industrial acoustics, KFB Technologies has created the AI-based RAFA platform, which enables companies to comprehensively manage and reduce the risks associated with key emissions to the external environment and in the workplace. The RAFA platform is the next step in the global development of Wrocław-based KFB Technologies, which already cooperates with over 250 international clients from the industrial sector in the field of noise and vibration emissions and has completed 2,500 engineering projects worldwide.

– There is growing pressure on companies in the industrial, heavy and critical infrastructure sectors to manage risk and reduce emissions to the environment associated with their activities – says Filip Barański, president and co-founder of KFB Technologies. – The RAFA platform is an innovative operating system for managing environmental impact, combining measurement, analysis and management of emissions in four key environmental areas; it detects and helps eliminate hazards, reduces the number of complaints and safety incidents, and effectively manages occupational safety.

RAFA automates operational processes and is the first system in the world to centralise and link environmental exposure and emission data. The system operates on the basis of integrated and structured data. Using machine learning and artificial intelligence, it serves as a tool for advanced analysis of environmental parameters, recommends optimal actions, and generates predictive trend information. In addition, the system enables automatic environmental reporting (ESG compliance).

– The integration of artificial intelligence with climate technologies is changing the way companies collect and use environmental data, giving them a competitive advantage in developing more effective and targeted solutions – says Filip Barański.

The RAFA platform is supported by local and global environmental monitoring systems. Local monitoring of environmental parameters is carried out using mobile measuring stations and the integration of existing monitoring systems. In addition, RAFA is powered by data from over 200 satellites, which enables real-time monitoring of ongoing changes in large emission areas and correlation of data with local environmental monitoring stations.

Most of the environmental protection analytics solutions currently available on the market focus only on monitoring a single emission and its impact on, for example, air or water quality. RAFA combines key environmental areas into a single ecosystem, allowing for the analysis of interdependencies and the management of a company’s overall impact on the environment. The platform does not require users to have their own measurement infrastructure. As part of the service, KFB Technologies can provide the necessary equipment on a subscription basis. It can also launch additional monitoring on an ad hoc basis for a selected production process or type of emission.

– Currently, our mission is not only to analyse and solve environmental problems that have arisen, but also to take proactive measures to prevent them from occurring in the first place. Our solution is aimed at industry, state and local government institutions that are looking for scalable tools to help them achieve their strategic emission reduction goals and control internal processes – adds Filip Barański.
