In response to the growing demand for specialized services in Poland’s rapidly developing offshore wind sector, four specialized companies have announced the formation of a new consortium. Fathom Group, GuD Geotechnik und Dynamik Consult GmbH, Industria, and MEWO S.A. have joined forces to offer comprehensive support for offshore wind projects in the region.
This initiative, as highlighted by the consortium’s representatives, stems from a full understanding that contemporary offshore wind projects do not tolerate random actions, and that specialized knowledge, experience, precision, and efficient coordination are key.

The consortium combines unique experiences and specializations:
- GuD Geotechnik und Dynamik Consult GmbH, with over 40 years of experience, contributes in-depth knowledge in geotechnics and dynamics, crucial for the design and implementation of offshore wind turbine foundations. Their Polish subsidiary, GuD Offshore Wind Polska, actively participates in projects in the North and Baltic Seas, offering services from field surveys to construction supervision.
- Industria, with 16 years of experience in designing complex investments, including offshore wind farms, utilizes advanced technologies such as BIM and 3D scanning, ensuring precision and efficiency in design processes. Their involvement in cooperation with Polish technical universities also underscores their commitment to workforce development in the sector.
- Fathom Group and MEWO S.A. complement the consortium with their unique competencies, forming a synergistic whole capable of comprehensive support.
