Powering up Europe: Unlocking Ireland’s oshore wind potential to help achieve EU climate targets

The recent energy crisis has placed even more urgency on the need to decarbonise our economy and accelerate the generation of homegrown, clean energy. The oshore wind potential of Ireland is vast, and may likely surpass Ireland’s own energy demands over time. This means that this Irish natural resource could be of great significance to Europe, so long as the right infrastructure and market plans are in place.
