This is the fourth edition of the PCI Energy Days, a policy conference and exhibition dedicated to the practical implementation of Projects of Common Interest.

The clean energy transition is driven by the urgency to fight climate change and by energy security considerations bringing energy networks at the top of the political debate.

This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the trans-European energy networks policy, our unique instrument for planning infrastructure in Europe. EU countries, regulators, grid operators and project promoters will meet with the industry, civil society and the wider financing community to discuss some of the most pressing challenges they face in building and modernising the necessary energy infrastructure in view of meeting EU’s 2030 climate and energy targets.

The event is an excellent opportunity for the showcasing of Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) in the exhibition called the PCI Garden, as well as promoters’ experience in building future-proof, innovative and environmentally sound energy infrastructure which engages local communities and use new approaches to financing.

Commissioner Kadri Simson will be opening the event, which will be chaired by Director-General Ditte Juul Jørgensen.
