The summer at the power station construction site near Choczewo in Pomerania was marked by intensive work.

Energy measurement cabinets and auxiliary power cabinets were installed in the technical building to ensure the required power supply for all equipment and installations at the facility. Start-up work on the auxiliary power supply systems has also been completed, allowing to prepare for the connection of further installations located in the technical buildings on the station premises. This was made possible by an agreement concluded with Energa-Obrót S.A. for the supply of electricity from the 15 kV distribution network. Currently, assembly and commissioning work is underway on the control and supervision system cabinets for the entire station. The installation of these devices will enable technical checks of the 400 kV fields to begin. The first tests are planned for the beginning of October.

A lot has also happened outside the station in recent months. The installation of the tubular busbar has been completed and we are finalising the filling of the 400 kV circuit breakers with SF6 gas. Work on the construction of internal roads and the access road is also coming to an end, with the final layer of surfacing being laid gradually. Streetlights are being installed around the roads, and the station area has gained a new external fence. Entrance gates will also be installed in the coming weeks. The work is proceeding according to schedule, so that by the end of the year the station will be ready to receive voltage from the National Power System and enable power to be drawn from the Offshore Wind Farms.
