Eastgate Engineering will proudly be delivering a package of works to support Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3, Offshore Wind Farms, two of the most significant renewable energy developments currently underway in the Baltic Sea. This project continues to strengthen our growing position in the offshore wind industry, reflecting our commitment to creating a sustainable future.
Located approximately 22-37 kilometres off the Polish coast near Łeba, Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3, are two offshore wind projects with a total capacity of 1440 MW (720 MW each), developed by Equinor and Polenergia. The two wind farms, developed in parallel, will consist of 100 fixed bottom turbines. Upon completion, the combined wind farms will supply up to two million households with green energy.
As part of the first wave of large-scale offshore wind developments in Poland, Bałtyk 2 and 3 will also serve as a critical foundation for the country’s emerging offshore supply chain and workforce.
We’re proud to have been employed by Smulders to deliver this package of works, a partnership built on a series of successful projects we’ve previously completed together. Their continued trust in Eastgate reflects the high standards, safety, and quality we deliver across all stages of project execution.
