The Norwegian developer of the offshore wind sector has announced that Holger Matthiesen, who until now has been acting as Head of Offshore Wind Development Scandinavia, Poland & Baltics in RWE Renewables, has joined the Norwegian tycoon developing offshore wind farms in floating technology,
– Aker Offshore Wind is pleased to welcome a new colleague, Holger Matthiesen! Holger will take on an exciting role as head of our new Continental Europe region and will be based in our new Hamburg office, the company announced on Linkedin.
– I am thrilled to take on a new challenge, contribute to Aker’s success story and identify business opportunities in offshore wind and beyond. Aker Offshore Wind’s new office in Hamburg has been established and we start work today, Matthiesen announced on Linkedin.
As we read, Holger is an experienced manager in the offshore wind sector. In addition to RWE Renewables, he was also associated with E.ON. He also has experience in oil and gas exploration and production having worked in Libya, Russia and the Netherlands.
