Ocean Winds (OW) is one of the largest and most experienced global offshore wind developers with a presence in the Polish market. The Spanish-French company operates in markets in Europe, Asia and the United States. It is a leader in the most innovative technologies, including floating offshore platforms. OW confirms that the Polish market is one of those it prioritizes, declaring its long-term presence and cooperation with domestic suppliers.
Ocean Winds owns the BC-Wind offshore wind farm project, which will be developed in the Polish waters of the Baltic Sea. The investor has exclusive rights to build offshore wind farms in two adjacent locations. The offshore wind farm project has been under development since 2012. The company relies on direct dialogue and relationship building with potential suppliers of services and components in Poland.
Ocean Winds Suppliers Day is an excellent opportunity to talk to investors about planned activities and requirements for the offshore wind farm project. They consistently develop cooperation, as evidenced by, among other things, the selection of the port of Władysławowo as a service base for the BC-Wind farm. OW’s global position provides a unique opportunity for Polish companies to undertake cooperation not only within the domestic supply chain, but also to access offshore projects developed around the world.
Suppliers Day, organized on 13 September 2023, will be an opportunity for suppliers to get information on the development of the BC-Wind project and to get in touch with the developer. Among other things, the meeting will present an example of how OW is building local content in the UK market, as well as the procurement policy, including rules for contracting goods and services.
The meeting will be held in the formula of “100 questions to OW” so we invite you to send, in the form below, questions that will be answered by Ocean Winds representatives during the event.
