Cycling enthusiasts and climate activists will once again join forces during the third Polish edition of the Climate Classic bike rally. This unique event, combining a passion for sport with a deep commitment to climate protection, will take place in picturesque Szczecin and is organised this year by the Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA).
‘We are extremely proud to mobilise participants and observers to take action in defence of the climate!’ emphasise PWEA representatives. The event has already gained prestigious patronage from the Minister of Sport and Tourism, the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Province and the City of Szczecin.
Why Climate Classic?
Climate Classic is an international initiative that has already successfully united cyclists in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy. It is a symbolic peloton – a metaphor for a joint effort for the future of our planet. Participation in the rally is not only an excellent opportunity for physical activity, but above all a manifestation of climate solidarity and an expression of faith that every kilometre can make a difference. We are riding for clean air and safer ecosystems, raising climate awareness in society.
Route Along the Oder – The River Symbolising the Ecological Alarm
This year, the route of the rally will run along the Oder, a river that has become a symbol of ecological alarm. Participants will have the opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of actions to protect natural resources. Two picturesque routes are planned:

A rest break is planned in the recreation area by the Oder River in Krajnik Dolny.
