Swedish marine propulsion manufacturer Berg Propulsion has reorganised its leadership team with effect from 1 May 2026, installing Philip Chaabane as Chief Executive Officer in a planned transition the company says reflects its strategic direction and long-term growth ambitions.
Stefan Sedersten, who had previously held the CEO position, takes on the role of Executive Chairman, concentrating on initiatives that support the company’s further development. Jon Töyrä has moved from Chief Financial Officer to Chief Operating Officer, taking overall responsibility for operations. Supply Chain Director Helena Lennerstedt has also joined the management team following her recent appointment.
“We know where we are heading. This reorganisation ensures we have the right structure and leadership in place to continue moving forward,” said Chaabane.
Berg Propulsion, based in Hönö, Sweden, designs and manufactures controllable-pitch and fixed-pitch propellers, azimuth thrusters, transverse thrusters, and vessel control systems. Its products serve commercial and naval vessels across global markets, with production facilities in Sweden and service offices in China, Singapore, Türkiye and the UAE.
