A public procurement has been launched for a metocean in-situ measurement campaign for the Estonian-Latvian ELWIND offshore wind farm project. A single provider will be selected to conduct measurements at both planned offshore wind park sites—one in Estonia and one in Latvia.

The campaign aims to gather accurate meteorological and oceanographic data, which will be crucial for the Wind Resource Assessment and for companies bidding to develop the project. The data will also support the design, installation, and maintenance of wind turbines, cables, substations, and related infrastructure.

The deadline to submit tenders is 6 May 2025 at 10:00 (EET).
