The Embassy of the Netherlands in Poland informed, that in October a study visit of the Polish offshore wind energy sector representatives took place in the Netherlands.

The study visit was attended by representatives of the Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA), the investor Polenergia, the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) and the management board of the Port of Gdansk. On 25-26 October, the delegation travelled to the Netherlands to learn about the state of development of the Dutch offshore wind energy sector and the achievements of the domestic industry.

“The visit was organised jointly by the Economic Department of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Warsaw, the Netherlands Wind Energy Association (NWEA) and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)”, reads a release on the Ocean-EnergyResources.com.

The experts were at the Port of Rotterdam and a part of the Dutch offshore cluster. They visited Sig Group’s monopile factory and IHC IQIP’s plant, where equipment and integrated solutions for the offshore sector are manufactured. On the second day, the delegation attended the annual Offshore Energy Masterclass seminar organized by the Dutch government for stakeholders from around the world on the margins of the Amsterdam Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC).
