Security and independence are words that have been mentioned in all cases in recent days. The war in Ukraine has shown how fragile the energy industry is based on fossil fuels imported mainly from Russia – gas, oil and coal. What will replace Russian coal? The answer is Renewable Energy Sources (RES), especially wind power, which has been called the “energy of freedom” in recent weeks. This year’s PWEA2022 Conference in Serock (13-15 June) will address the key issues and problems standing in the way of a green energy mix in our country.

The development of the entire renewable energy industry is already an irreversible process. Many governments across Europe have prioritized the development of green energy sources to reduce emissions and meet international climate goals. But the ambition is much broader and includes the socio-economic benefits we have at our fingertips.

The Polish Wind Energy Association Conference is the largest industry event in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to wind energy and energy market development in terms of implementation and operation of RES technologies in Poland. The event provides an opportunity to share experiences and discuss the use of renewable energy sources in the national economy and the environmental benefits of transitioning to a low-carbon economy.

Among the key topics of this year’s conference will be: the inevitable climate change and the role of wind energy in the energy transition of our country and Europe, the use of renewable energy to produce green hydrogen on a large scale as well as grid connection issues and business prospects for investment in cPAA. There will also be the topic of offshore wind energy, which is seen as an important element in ensuring Poland’s energy security in the coming years.

The 3-day PWEA2022 Conference is not only a large dose of knowledge and comments from industry experts during panel discussions, but also thematic workshops and report premieres. The entire wind industry meets annually in Serock to comment on the current situation and outline ambitious plans for the coming months.

The wind energy sector is growing rapidly and celebrating its successes. An excellent opportunity to do so will be the PWEA Conference in Serock on June 13-15, which provides a venue for discussion for the entire wind industry family thanks to an extensive PROGRAMME. We believe that already in June we will meet in Serock stronger after the experience of the last year and spend productive time together. For more information, visit: www.konferencjapsew.pl
