Alterric GmbH, the German onshore wind independent power producer (IPP), has announced that chief financial officer Dr Kai Peter Zoellmann is leaving the company following a mutual agreement over differences in strategic direction during the firm’s growth phase.

Heiko Janssen, chairman of Alterric’s supervisory board, said: “Dr Zoellmann is leaving our company due to different views on strategic direction during the growth phase, at his own request. We deeply regret this but respect his decision, and we thank Dr Zoellmann for his work. We wish him all the best personally and professionally.”

Alterric said that financial responsibilities will be managed within the existing leadership structure until a replacement is named. The company stated it is continuing its growth course as an IPP across onshore wind, battery storage, and ground-mounted solar photovoltaics.

Alterric currently operates more than 2,500 MW of installed capacity and holds a development pipeline exceeding 11,000 MW. The company is active primarily in Germany, France, and Greece, employing around 600 staff across 15 locations in Germany and international offices. It is a joint venture between the Aloys Wobben Stiftung and EWE AG.
