Munich-based independent power producer Tion Renewables has completed the acquisition of an operational 69 MWp agri-photovoltaic park in Schwarzholz, Saxony-Anhalt, from developer FEFA Projekt GmbH, the companies announced on 10 July.
The park entered operation in February 2026 and is expected to generate around 87 gigawatt hours of electricity annually, enough to supply roughly 25,000 households. As an agri-PV installation, it combines solar power generation with continued agricultural use of the land. A long-term power purchase agreement secures contracted revenues for the asset.
“This acquisition is a perfect addition to our strong operational portfolio: a high-quality asset with long-term secured revenues, developed and built by a highly qualified business partner,” said Ingmar Helmke, CEO of Tion Renewables. Fabian Schwarzlose, managing director of FEFA Projekt GmbH, said the family-run group had developed the plant from initial concept to full operation and had been looking for “the right owner”.
Tion Renewables operates a portfolio of 887 MW of renewable energy assets across selected European core markets, investing in solar PV, onshore wind and battery storage. Backed by its shareholder EQT Group, the company is headquartered in Munich with offices in Frankfurt, Madrid and Warsaw, where it is also active in the Polish market. FEFA, based in Stendal in Saxony-Anhalt, develops, builds and operates wind and agri-PV projects in the Altmark region.
