WindEurope has opened the call for abstracts for its Annual Event 2027, which runs in Copenhagen from 20 to 22 April. Submissions close on 4 September.
The abstracts define the technical scope of the conference programme. WindEurope is asking for operational experience, field data, innovative concepts and research that moves the sector, framed around the theme of taking European energy from crisis to confidence.
Submissions must fit one of the published technical themes and present operational solutions, field experience or real-world data. The association has said explicitly that commercial content will be rejected, and it is encouraging submissions from women to broaden the range of perspectives on stage.
The event regularly draws more than 16,000 attendees. Applications are also open for stands in the Startup Pavilion, the exhibition area reserved for newer companies in the sector, and the full sponsorship catalogue is due to follow.
For Baltic developers, operators and suppliers, the abstract deadline is the practical one to note. Conference slots are where operational data from the region’s first commercial-scale projects — Baltic Power, Baltica 2, and the German and Danish farms now entering service — reaches an audience that includes the supply chain deciding where to invest next.
