Enova Service is expanding its spare parts, major component replacement and maintenance business for Enercon turbines, responding to a growing share of German onshore wind farms reaching advanced operating age.
The company’s existing refurbishment of power electronics will be supplemented by a broader range of components and spare parts across different quality tiers, matched to the age and planned remaining operating life of individual turbines. Enova Service is presenting an exclusive trade-fair offer on selected power electronics at WindEnergy Hamburg this week.
Alongside the parts expansion, the company is growing its capacity for exchanging and repairing major Enercon components, with several specialised teams supporting operators of E-40 to E-92 turbines — chiefly generator repairs, along with rotor blade, hub and azimuth bearing replacements. Enova Service also provides maintenance for Enercon plants, primarily for operators in the greater Lower Saxony region.
“Every turbine that stands still means lost revenue for our customers. With the triple offensive, we are building out exactly what the market needs now: more spare parts, more major-component capacity and reliable service on site,” said managing director Sandy Raetz. The expansion is part of the wider Enova Group’s “HYP3R 2030” strategy; the group operates more than 1.4 GW of onshore wind capacity in Germany.
