European Energy has agreed to sell the 21 MW Myślibórz onshore wind project in north-western Poland to TAURON, the Danish developer said on 30 September. TAURON will acquire 100 per cent of the shares in Myślibórz Wind Farm sp. z o.o., the project company holding the rights to the wind farm.

European Energy has developed the project and prepared it for construction. The wind farm will consist of six Vestas V126 turbines of 3.5 MW each. Once operational, it will become part of TAURON’s renewable energy portfolio.

Jens-Peter Zink, Deputy CEO of European Energy, said selling projects to long-term owners lets the company realise the value created in development and recycle capital into new projects. Olga Sypula, VP and Regional Manager for Central Europe, said the deal reflects the quality of the company’s Polish pipeline across several technologies.

European Energy has sold assets in Poland before: in 2025 it sold six operating wind farms in the north-west of the country, with a combined 83.5 MW, to Enea Nowa Energia. It continues to develop onshore wind, solar PV, battery storage and Power-to-X projects in Poland. Financial terms of the Myślibórz sale were not disclosed in the announcement.
