The Nordex Group has secured three new orders in the United States with a combined capacity of 484 megawatts. The Hamburg-based manufacturer did not disclose the names of the customers or the projects.

One contract covers 32 turbines of the N133/4.8 type, with a total output of around 154 MW. The remaining two orders comprise 56 turbines of the N163/5.X type, totalling about 350 MW.

“These projects clearly show the confidence our customers place in the technology and delivery capability of Nordex,” said Manav Sharma, CEO of Nordex North America. He said the orders signalled that the company’s growth in the region continued to gain pace, supported by proven turbine technology and a local supply chain.

Nordex has installed more than 64 GW of wind capacity across over 40 markets since it was founded in 1985, and reported group revenue of around 7.6 billion euros in 2025. The company employs more than 11,100 people and operates plants in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India and the United States.

For the Baltic Sea region, Nordex remains one of the main onshore turbine suppliers. Its machines in the 4 to 7 MW-plus class are designed for markets with limited build-out space and constrained grid capacity, conditions that apply across much of Germany and Poland as both countries expand onshore wind.
