Turbine manufacturer Nordex Group has secured an order for around 525 MW from Turkey’s Türkerler Holding, the largest single wind turbine order the company has received in the Turkish market.
The contract covers the supply and installation of 72 N175/6.X turbines from the Delta4000 series, with a hub height of 108 metres, and includes a ten-year premium service agreement with an option to extend to 25 years. The turbines are destined for the “YEKA-5 R25 Sivas” wind project in central Turkey, where installation of the first unit is due to begin in the third quarter of 2027.
“The Türkerler Holding has placed its trust in the Nordex Group and chosen us as partner for the largest single order for wind turbines in the Turkish market to date,” said Ender Özatay, vice president for the Türkiye and Middle East region. Türkerler, a repeat customer, is active in construction, energy, healthcare and other sectors. Nordex says it holds a 34 per cent share of the Turkish wind market.
The order matters beyond Turkey. Nordex is headquartered in Hamburg and runs manufacturing plants in Germany, Spain, Turkey and elsewhere; a full order book keeps that industrial base — which also supplies onshore projects across the Baltic-rim markets — running at scale.
