Nordex Group has received an order from Berlin-based developer TEUT Energieprojekte for 13 N163/6.X turbines totalling 91 MW at the Schönermark-Passow wind farm near Schwedt/Oder in Brandenburg’s Uckermark district. The Hamburg-based manufacturer announced the contract on 16 September; it includes a 20-year premium service agreement.
Delivery and installation of the turbines, which will stand on 164-metre hub-height towers, are scheduled to begin in September 2027, with the first unit expected to start operating in January 2028. TEUT is developing the project together with Salzburg AG, the utility of the Austrian federal state of the same name.
The order continues a long-running relationship in Brandenburg. In 2025 TEUT ordered eleven Nordex turbines with a combined 65.7 MW for the Mürow-Neukünkendorf and Willmersdorf-Tempelfelde wind farms, due to be commissioned in spring and summer 2027. Schönermark-Passow is the developer’s tenth project with the manufacturer.
“We have acquired a total of 39 turbines with an installed capacity of 252 MW,” said Jan Teut, managing director of TEUT Energieprojekte, adding that the contract negotiations and the construction and operation of the earlier machines gave the company the confidence to keep planning projects with Nordex turbines.
Karsten Brüggemann, vice president for the Europe region at Nordex Group, said the manufacturer was again supporting TEUT in delivering a new wind farm and thereby contributing to the continued expansion of wind power in Brandenburg.
Nordex has commissioned more than 64 GW of wind capacity in over 40 markets since 1985 and reported group revenue of around EUR 7.6 billion for 2025. Its product range concentrates on onshore turbines in the 4 to 7 MW-plus classes aimed at markets with limited land and grid capacity. Brandenburg, on Germany’s Baltic hinterland, remains one of the country’s most active onshore wind states, and repeat orders of this kind show developers there locking in turbine supply and service for projects due online in 2027 and 2028.
