Qualitas Energy, a global investment, management, and project development platform focused on renewable energy, energy transition, and sustainable infrastructure investment, announced that it has secured the winning tender from Federal Network Agency’s (BNetzA) for a 39.9 MW greenfield project in Dalkendorf, Mecklenburg, located in the Rostock district in northern Germany.
Successful completion of the tender guarantees remuneration for electricity sales over the next 20 years, marking a key milestone in advancing the project. Qualitas Energy aims to begin construction in spring of 2025, with the farm slated for commissioning by mid-2026.
To achieve this ambitious goal, the company has already placed an order for the delivery of seven Nordex N149 wind turbines, each boasting an output of 5.7 MW.

The Dalkendorf wind farm is among over 80 wind energy projects currently being developed by Qualitas Energy in Germany. The company is actively expanding its portfolio by acquiring greenfield project rights and existing wind farms for repowering across the country. With an investment of €1.2 billion, Qualitas Energy aims to expand its in-house project development pipeline to achieve a total capacity of 4 GW in wind energy.
