Equinor and Polenergia have launched a new visual identity for the Bałtyk projects. The offshore wind farms have also gained a new website common to all three projects: www.baltyk123.pl

Equinor and Polenergia are developing three projects in the Baltic Sea with a total capacity of up to 3,000 MW. The Bałtyk offshore wind farms will power more than 4 million households with green energy. The most advanced projects, Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3, with a total capacity of 1440 MW, are scheduled to start up as early as 2027.

– By implementing the Bałtyk offshore wind farm projects, we are contributing to the construction of a modern and green energy industry in Poland. We make use of vast experience and modern technological solutions, developed in harmony with nature and its resources. Inspired by it, we are introducing a new visualization of our three wind farms. The new visuals of the Bałtyk projects are a communication tool that allows us to convey information about the projects, as well as support dialogue with our stakeholders – says Michał Jerzy Kołodziejczyk, Country Manager of Equinor in Poland.

The new branding is inspired by colors from nature. The color scheme of the materials used to communicate the Baltic projects is to depend on the content and audience of a given message. Different colors will be used for signature business materials, and others for those dealing with the energy market or stakeholder contact.

The projects’ new website (www.baltyk123.pl) provides comprehensive information on the offshore wind farms being developed by Equinor and Polenergia. The website includes, among others, maps showing the location of the Bałtyk projects, the timetable of investments or tabs dedicated to suppliers, local communities and activities carried out for environmental protection.

– The construction and commissioning of the Bałtyk offshore wind farms is coming ever closer. To keep us updated on our progress, we are introducing a new visual identity and a common website for all three projects. We believe that the key to the success of any investment is dialogue, and we want to actively pursue it. With the residents of Pomerania, our investors and suppliers, the local administration, but also with the future employees and workers of the Baltic projects. The new website and layout are important tools for us, thanks to which we will be able to reach all those interested in our offshore projects even faster and more effectively – says Jerzy Zań, President of the Management Board of Polenergia S.A.

Work on the construction and launch of Equinor and Polenergia’s offshore wind farms is already well advanced. The Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 projects already have contracted suppliers of the most important components – offshore wind turbines, electrical system infrastructure or internal and export cables. This year will also see the start of construction of a service base in Łeba, which will service all three investments.

Equinor and Polenergia have also applied for an environmental decision for the connection infrastructure of the Bałtyk 1 offshore wind farm, with a capacity of up to 1560 MW. The Bałtyk 1 project is the largest wind farm being developed in the Baltic Sea, which the investors are preparing to auction in 2025.
