Supplier Day is an opportunity for domestic companies to join the Bałtyk 1 project supply chain. The meeting is aimed at both companies with experience in the offshore wind energy industry and companies from other sectors that have the relevant expertise, products, or services to support the implementation of the investment at various stages.
The scope of cooperation will cover a wide range of procurement packages, similar to those implemented in the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 projects. This means a demand for, among other things, transport and installation services, delivery of electrical components, construction works, maintenance services, monitoring and technical inspection systems, as well as support in the areas of HSE, logistics, and IT. In addition to presenting the Bałtyk 1 project and reviewing the procurement packages, Equinor and Polenergia plan to present best practices in establishing cooperation and examples of Polish companies that have joined the supply chain of the already implemented Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 projects.
Participation in the event is free of charge. Registration is required via the form available at the link. Registration is open until September 9.

About OWF Bałtyk 1:
Bałtyk 1 is the largest and most advanced project of the second phase of offshore development in Poland. Its capacity is expected to reach 1,560 MW, which will allow it to supply green energy to up to 2 million households. Bałtyk 1 has permits to construct artificial islands, structures, and equipment in Polish maritime areas, a valid environmental decision, and a connection agreement with the transmission system operator PSE. Equinor and Polenergia have also submitted an application to the Energy Regulatory Office for the Bałtyk 1 project to be pre-qualified for participation in Poland’s first offshore auction, thus beginning the process of qualifying the project for the December auction. The companies are striving for maximum participation of domestic companies in the project, planning to involve local enterprises at a level of up to 45%.
