Baltic Power Suppliers Day 2022: Meet the Buyer is another in a series of events dedicated to companies interested in cooperating within the supply chain for Baltic Power – a joint offshore wind farm project of PKN ORLEN and Northland Power.

Scheduled for 19 October 2022 in Sopot, at the Radisson Bluhotel conference will be the third event dedicated to building the supply chain of the offshore wind industry in Poland. Unlike previous years, the 2022 edition changes its format and puts key project suppliers at the centre. During the event, it will be the main contractors selected in the recently completed processes who will present information on cooperation opportunities, requirements, procurement processes and schedules for each installation package.

Baltic Power Suppliers Day 2022: Meet the Buyer Conference is first and foremost an opportunity to establish new business relationships with major suppliers and other companiesinterested in supply chain cooperation for Baltic Power. Therefore, after the main part of the event and a series of presentations, we will invite participants to individual meetings with representatives of all major suppliers. This willbe an opportunity both to ask questions and, above all, to make some initial business contact. In addition to this, we have included in our agenda as much time as possible for meetings and discussions between all the participants of the event. In this way, we want to provide you with access to a unique network of companies interested in working together in the supply chain for the project and more broadly in the offshore wind Sector.

The construction of the Baltic Power offshore wind farm is not only a key element of the ORLEN Group’s transformation and one of the most important projects implemented in Europe by Northland Power, but also a milestone in the development of the Polish energy sector. Balic Power has secured all contracts with the main suppliers and, according to the schedule, plans to start construction of the farm as early as 2024. When completed in 2026, the Baltic Power offshore wind farm with a capacity of up to 1.2 GW will be able to supply more than1.5 million households with clean energy.
