The Nordex Group has received a new order from Turkish renewable energy company Eksim Enerji A.Ş. covering the supply and installation of 16 wind turbines of the N175/6.X type with a combined installed capacity of 110 MW. The turbines will be erected for the Balıkesir-3 wind park on steel tube towers with a hub height of 119 metres and delivered in Cold-Climate configuration.

The Balıkesir-3 project is located in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir Province, at elevations between 800 and 950 metres above sea level. In addition to supply and installation, the contract includes a ten-year premium service agreement to ensure long-term operational availability of the turbines.

Eksim Enerji has been a Nordex customer since 2010, and its wind energy portfolio now totals 832.8 MW of installed capacity. “With this new order from Eksim Enerji, we are continuing a successful partnership that has lasted more than 15 years,” said Ender Ozatay, Vice President for the Turkey and Mid East region at Nordex Group. “The N175/6.X is ideal for the wind conditions at Sındırgı, ensuring high long-term energy yields.”

Turkey has been a key market for the Hamburg-based manufacturer since 2017, where it holds approximately a 34 per cent market share. The N175/6.X turbines for Balıkesir-3 are fully compatible with YEKA-2025 local content requirements, supporting domestic manufacturing. The Nordex Group has installed more than 64 GW across over 40 markets since 1985 and reported group revenue of approximately €7.6 billion in 2025, employing more than 11,100 people globally.
