PGE Baltica has signed an Agreement for the provision of offshore and onshore technical advisory services for offshore wind farm construction projects within the PGE Capital Group programme with Ramboll Polska.

Offshore and onshore technical advisory services for the preparation and execution phase of offshore wind farm construction projects in the Baltic Sea are an important element in the entire investment process due to the complexity of the projects and the dynamically changing market of the offshore wind energy industry. The scope of work includes advisory services for the three phases of project operation: development, construction and operation. The contract has been signed for a period of four years.

The cooperation with a leading advisor to the offshore industry such as Ramboll is undoubtedly aimed at providing technical support to all projects implemented by PGE.

PGE Group’s Offshore Programme envisages the construction of the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm, implemented in two phases – Baltica 2 and Baltica 3, with a total installed capacity of up to 2.5 GW by 2030. These projects are being developed jointly with Ørsted. Then, after 2030, the Baltica 1 Wind Power Plant with a capacity of approximately 0.9 GW will be added to the Group’s portfolio. By acquiring new areas for development in the Baltic Sea, the PGE Group will be able to build further offshore wind farms by 2040. Together with the projects currently under construction, this will allow it to achieve more than 7 GW of installed generation capacity in offshore technology.
