The third edition of the Regional IAMD Coalitions Conference takes place on 21–22 May 2026 at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. The event, held under the honorary patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, brings together senior military commanders, air and missile defence specialists from NATO member states, defence industry leaders, and scientists from Poland, Europe and the United States.
IAMD — Integrated Air and Missile Defence — has become one of the most actively debated topics within NATO’s eastern flank as the alliance works to close gaps in layered protection for member states bordering Russia and Belarus. The Warsaw conference serves as a platform to exchange operational experience and define regional defence capability requirements.
The programme is divided into two tracks. The industry session focuses on building defence industrial capability, managing the lifecycle of military equipment, and sharing procurement experience between NATO member states and the Armament Agency. The scientific session will produce a peer-reviewed monograph analysing ballistic missile defence from three dimensions: technical and analytical, regional operational experience, and strategic. Expert speakers are drawn from the United States, South Korea, the Czech Republic and Poland.
The conference reflects Poland’s growing central role in NATO’s eastern flank air defence architecture. Poland has in recent years invested in Patriot batteries, short-range systems, and integration with allied command structures, while hosting the forward headquarters of V Corps and increasing interoperability with Baltic and Nordic partners.
Media accreditation for the conference required registration by 20 May 2026. The event is closed to the general public, with access limited to credentialled journalists and invited defence industry representatives.
