The Nordex Group has secured orders totalling around 700 MW from German renewable-energy developer UKA (Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen). Placed in late June, the orders cover 100 turbines of the N175/6.X and N163/6.X types, each rated at 7 MW, destined for several projects across a number of German federal states.

Alongside the supply of the turbines, the orders include multi-year service and maintenance contracts intended to secure long-term operation of the sites. The turbines are based on Nordex’s Delta4000 platform.

The developer linked the orders to recent auction results. “The successful EEG awards from the August 2025 round and the February 2026 round create the basis for this next large batch,” said Gernot Gauglitz, CEO of the UKA Group, adding that the company is on course to install one gigawatt of wind capacity in a single calendar year. Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Central at Nordex, described UKA as one of the manufacturer’s most important and reliable partners.

UKA currently has around 1.6 GW of onshore wind under construction in its German home market. Nordex, founded in 1985, has installed more than 64 GW of wind capacity across over 40 markets and reported group revenue of about €7.6 billion in 2025.

The order underlines the continued strength of Germany’s onshore wind pipeline, a key part of the wider energy transition across the Baltic Sea region and its neighbouring markets.
