The Nordex Group has secured a 100 MW order in Eastern Europe covering the supply and commissioning of 17 wind turbines. The contract is for the N163/5.X model and includes a multi-year service and maintenance agreement.
Full commissioning of the turbines is scheduled for 2028. Nordex did not disclose the customer or the name of the wind farm.
The Hamburg-based manufacturer has installed more than 64 GW of wind capacity across over 40 markets since 1985 and reported group revenue of around EUR 7.6 billion in 2025. Its product range focuses on onshore turbines in the 4-7 MW-plus class, aimed at markets with limited build-out space or constrained grid capacity.
Eastern European orders are closely watched in the Baltic region, where onshore wind build-out is accelerating, though the undisclosed location leaves the exact market unconfirmed.
