The draft of law liberalising distance requirements for investments in onshore wind farms will be on the cabinet’s agenda in the coming weeks, the deputy minister of climate and environment Milosz Motyka told a press conference about the new National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water’s programme ‘My wind power plant’.
“In the list of legislative works of the Sejm [lower house of Polish parliament – PAP ed.] there is the UD41 project which includes better billing for prosumers in the net billing system,” Motyka said.
“In the coming weeks a draft law liberalising distance requirements for investments in onshore wind farms will be on the cabinet’s agenda,” he added.
The deputy minister stressed that accelerating the energetic transformation is a priority for the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
“This is a chance for cheaper energy and clean air,” he stated while pointing out that Polish transformation has a chance to be based on dispersed power generation.
The climate deputy minister presented a new programme for the prosumers at the press conference called ‘My wind power plant’ as part of which it will be possible to obtain up to PLN 30,000 (EUR 6855.93) funding for a domestic wind power plant.
The programme will be realised by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water and its budget is PLN 50 million (EUR 11.43 mln) at the moment.
