Nordex Group more than doubled its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) to EUR 278.2 million in the third quarter of 2026, up from EUR 135.9 million a year earlier. The Hamburg-based turbine manufacturer reported an EBITDA margin of 12.7%, compared with 8.0% in the third quarter of 2025, and raised its full-year margin forecast to 11.5–12.5% from 8.0–11.0%. The company had flagged the increase in an ad hoc statement on 15 October.

Sales rose 28.2% to about EUR 2.2 billion. Group net income reached EUR 147.1 million, against EUR 51.7 million a year earlier, and free cash flow was EUR 379.1 million. At 30 September the company held EUR 2,326.5 million in cash and a net cash position of EUR 2,031.3 million.

Order intake in the Projects segment came to 2,810 MW from ten countries, 29.5% more than in the same quarter of 2025, with an order value of EUR 2.5 billion. The average selling price was stable at EUR 0.90 million per MW. The order backlog stood at EUR 19.3 billion, of which EUR 12.2 billion in Projects and EUR 7.1 billion in Service.

Installations were lower than a year earlier: Nordex installed 331 turbines with a combined 2,021 MW in 15 countries, against 2,576 MW in the third quarter of 2025. The company attributed the decline mainly to customer-side delays, delays in obtaining transport permits and delays linked to blade production in Türkiye. Europe accounted for 79% of installed capacity and North America for 21%. Turbine production totalled 2,363 MW, down 7.0%, in line with the project schedule.

Chief executive José Luis Blanco said the quarter was an important milestone and that the forecast sits at the upper end of the company’s medium-term target range. The guidance for sales of EUR 8.2–9.0 billion, a working capital ratio below minus 9% and capital expenditure of about EUR 200 million is unchanged. Nordex is a regular supplier to onshore wind farms in Germany, Poland and the Nordic countries. The quarterly statement has not been audited or reviewed by an auditor.
