The Polish Offshore Wind Industry Chamber (PIMEW), in partnership with the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Hamburg and PAIH Offices in Copenhagen and Frankfurt, is organizing the Polish Offshore Wind Industry Pavilion, dedicated entirely to the Polish offshore wind sector, as part of the WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 international trade fair. The WindEnergy Hamburg trade fair is the largest wind energy industry event in Europe, which will take place on September 24-27, 2024 at the Hamburg Messe halls.

The “Polish Offshore Wind Industry” pavilion will be a meeting place for representatives of Polish companies, institutions and organizations operating in the offshore wind energy sector with current and future business partners from abroad. Visitors to the pavilion will be able to learn about the product offerings, as well as the technologies used by Polish suppliers. In addition, visitors will be able to learn in detail about the offer of investment support in Poland, including Pomerania, and obtain reliable information on the state of development of the Polish offshore wind energy market and its prospects.

-The official representation of the Polish offshore wind industry at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 is an important step in the process of promoting the domestic economy, not only as a resource of subcontractors, but also, and perhaps even primarily, as a future leader in selected areas of the offshore wind energy value chain. In terms of competence and quality of production or services, our entrepreneurs are serious competitors against suppliers from other European countries – says Jakub Budzynski, President of the Polish Offshore Wind Industry Chamber (PIMEW).

-We are confident that the national pavilion will attract a lot of interest, which is currently confirmed by signals from our foreign partners. During the event, we will also distribute a trade fair catalog, in which we want to include descriptions of activities of our Exhibitors and Members, but also of companies related to the industry who wish to do so, as well as problem texts on the Polish offshore wind sector – he adds.

The Polish National Pavilion will be located in Hall B5 of the Hamburg Messe + Congress complex, a zone entirely dedicated to offshore wind energy. The pavilion’s organizers anticipate a number of accompanying events, including a grand opening of the Pavilion on September 24, afternoon networking with refreshments on the second day of the fair, and presentations with mini panel discussions on offshore wind energy in the southern Baltic.

WindEnergy Hamburg is a biennial event that is the largest in the European wind energy market. Each edition brings together a professional audience and exhibitors presenting innovative solutions for the entire industry value chain.
